Job Title: SEN KS2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Worksop, South Yorkshire, Employer: Academics ltd, Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications, Contract Type: Full-Time/ Temporary/ Temp to Perm roles available

The Role:
As an SEN KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the development and well-being of students with profound and multiple learning difficulties. Working in a supportive and inclusive environment, you will help create a safe and nurturing space where students can learn and grow.
* Providing one-on-one or small group support to students.
* Assisting with daily activities.
* Implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapting teaching materials.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
* Collaborating with the classroom teacher, therapists, and other professionals.
* Monitoring and recording student progress and behaviour.
Requirements:
* Experience working in an educational setting.
* A genuine passion for supporting and nurturing children with special educational needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, empathy, and adaptability.
* Relevant qualifications, such as a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant healthcare training, is a plus but not mandatory.
* DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
