Job description

The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Data Analyst on behalf of an internal sales and service business with offices in Luton.

The Role

As Data Analyst you will report into the Head of Finance and work to interpret data, analyse results and provide improved and updated MI to support the Finance team and other Operational areas of the business. Day to day duties will consist of:

• Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality
• Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
• Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
• Work with the SMT to prioritise business and information needs
• Support the senior managers of the key departments with reports on sales, procurement, finance, operations; s

• Support the team with excel knowledge and working spreadsheets
• Supporting the Accounts Department with providing essential monthly reports, creating yearly budget sheets
• Compile a rolling 4 month forecast analysis

Your Profile

You will have experience in Business Intelligence tools, finance and reporting systems and ERPs. Additionally you will have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide insightful information and reports to Finance Teams, Sales Teams and Operational areas.
