With a commitment to promoting a love for gardening and outdoor living, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Plant Area Manager to join their team and lead the department.

Position Overview: As the Plant Area Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the horticultural department. You will be responsible for managing a team, ensuring the health and vitality of our plant inventory, and delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of horticulture, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating a vibrant and inspiring garden centre environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the team, providing guidance, training, and support.
• Develop and implement merchandising strategies to showcase plants and garden products effectively.
• Provide expert advice to customers on plant selection, care, and garden maintenance.
• Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate restocking efforts.
• Oversee the maintenance of outdoor display areas, ensuring a visually appealing and well-organised layout.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a horticultural management role.
