Job description

We are looking for a skilled Event organiser volunteer to help us Organise and plan a Fundraising event In June 2024

Raise awareness of the issues we champion, Raise the profile of our charity and Raise funds

What will you be doing?

What Would my Responsibilities be?

• Engage with Private school, Speakers and musicians regarding the event
• Influence the Design & marketing materials required 
• Be adept in planning, working to a budget, engaging stakeholders to Donate in support of our event.
• Incorporate feedback and detailed specifications into overall plan
• Brainstorm new ideas for raising funds during the event
• Resolve potential conflicts through problem-solving, suggestions, and alternative ideas.
• Attend consultations (via Zoom) and oversee the Event (in Person- where possible).
• Collaboration and ability to work closely with others including PR & Marketing, Graphic Design Volunteers to promote the event.
• Adhere to all Hammersley Homes guidelines and policies.

What are we looking for?

What are we looking for in an Event Organiser?

• Previous experience of planning and running successful events
• Be adept in research, concept building, brainstorming, project managing, collaborating and working within tight budgets.
• Excellent communication skills - written & verbal
• Flexible with a positive attitude; ability and desire to work effectively with others as one team
• Motivated with the ability to work without supervision

What difference will you make?

Your input will shape how we present ourselves to our local community, stakeholders, funders and the general public. With your help we will be able to run an effective fundraising event enabling us to raise vital funds for our first home to support those suffering with mental illness

You would be involved in the event organisation - we are at discussion & planning stages - with a location (private school in North Hampshire), Guest speaker (CEO of Hammersley Homes) and Music/band.
