Quantity Surveyor (Rail / Civils)
Salary: £55 – 60k + benefits
Based: Kent (TN23)
About the Company:
An exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an established South East rail and civils contractor who have developed an outstanding reputation delivering rail civils and maintenance schemes to key clients like London Underground, Network Rail and the DLR. Schemes range in values from £500k – 30m. The company has been around for more than 25 years, starting from humble beginnings to become a market leader within the South East on certain aspects of delivery within the rail sector. They have plans for growth, with an excellent order book secured.
About the Role:
The Quantity Surveyor will work closely with the sector Commercial Manager overseeing the rail maintenance division. You will be tasked with managing key packages of work, taking full commercial control. The role will incorporate some pre-construction commercial duties and you will be working closely with both the delivery and pre-qualification teams to ensure schemes are delivered within the commercial targets set.
