Job description
West Sussex – Lead Technician – GBP35k–GBP40k – Power Electronics
Platform Recruitment have partnered with a leading provider of power electronics solutions. They are looking to recruit a Lead Technician to join their team. You will perform electronic testing of high voltage power supplies, and developing the product to meet project schedules and performance standards for NPI.
Main Duties:
+ Fault finding down to component level and contributing towards design improvements
+ Using specifications, drawings, and schematics, to test and troubleshoot units+ Maintaining fixturing, performing calibration and preventive/corrective maintenance
+ Acting as the primary point–of–contact and subject–matter expert for a work cell
+ Leading the team of NPI Test Technicians
Key Skills:
+ Experience in similar positions
+ Strong electronics experience
+ Ability to fault find to component level
+ Experience in NPI teams beneficial
+ Leadership experience beneficial
Salary/Location:
+ The salary for this position is GBP35k–GBP40k, depending on experience
+ This role is full–time, based in West Sussex 5 days per week, with standard working hours
