Position: Paramedic Practitioner
Location: Littlehampton
Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Salary: £42,000-£48,000 per annum (negotiable based upon experience)
I have an exciting Paramedic Practitioner position working for a busy GP surgery in Littlehampton, working on either a full or part time, permanent basis.
In this position you will be responsible to work within a large primary care team on site.
Key Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Telephone triage
- Face to face assessment
- Diagnosis and treatment of long-term conditions and minor illness
- Treatment for patients displaying a range of symptoms of minor illnesses and acute conditions.
- Work as an autonomous clinician with guidance from the GPs.
- Managing urgent care primarily with a GP. A designated GP will always be there to offer assistance or oversee.
- Evaluate clinical information gathered from the physical examination and history taking, and then start the necessary treatment and/or referral, including hospital admission if necessary.
- Promote healthy lifestyle choices and disease preventions.
