Job description
The Physician Associate works alongside the clinical team. They gather and communicate information; this may be by direct assessment and examination of patients or liaison with clinical teams and remote monitoring. This post will enable the successful applicant to be involved in many aspects of the care of those with infection across all patient groups. From initial history and examination, investigation and formulation of a differential diagnosis, to sample analysis in the laboratory and ultimately implementation of appropriate treatment on the ward. The post holder will contribute to and gain experience in all aspect of the prevention and management of infection.
