Job description
A leading manufacturing firm near Oxford are looking for a Supply Chain Director to manage Procurement and Supply Chain management/development, stock profile, and warehousing teams.
The Supply Chain Director will be responsible for managing and development of the Purchasing, and Supply Chain functions in support of the company strategic plan. They will also ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures while driving budget optimisation in meeting business and operational objectives. They will have a commercial mindset and be an active contributor to companywide board decisions and report to the Board of Directors.
Main Duties:
Qualifications and Experience
Educated to degree level and/or proven experience working in a similar role
Formal qualification in procurement and/or Supply Chain, eg. APICS, CIPS, IoSCM etc
SAP or similar experience with relevant procurement systems
Minimum of 7-10 years' experience
Minimum of 5 years management experience
Manufacturing/Engineering experience desirable
Global supply chain experience.

This is not a hybrid role and is based in Oxfordshire and due to the location you need to drive. Hours are Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm, competitive salary, Bupa Healthcare, contribution pension and free parking on site.
