Job description
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team as a Software Engineer, as our Software Engineer you will join one of our customer-facing product teams and you will play a crucial role in helping to shape the technical direction of our web platform. You will be supported by a Product Manager as well as a Lead Engineer to ensure we are building the right experiences to delight our customers with the right tech choices.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coding and Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Participate in hands-on development as needed, contributing to critical parts of the project.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance and testing processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software. Perform code reviews and oversee testing efforts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Troubleshooting : Investigate and resolve technical issues and challenges, providing timely solutions to keep projects on track.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience of collaborating in cross-functional product teams on the successful delivery of complex, highly performing and high-quality software systems.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Extensive experience of C#, MVC and SQL (.net framework and .net core)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in mentoring junior software developers.
- Experience using agile methodologies
- Knowledge of AWS (or other cloud technologies)
- Knowledge of distributed caching
- Knowledge of search technologies
- Exposure to TeamCity, Octopus and Bitbucket Pipelines
