Job description
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager specialising in PPE to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, specifically within the PPE sector, with a strong understanding of safety regulations and industry standards. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering tailored solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Identify and target potential clients in various industries, focusing on end users of PPE.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to enhance product offerings and meet customer needs.
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulations, and standards related to PPE, and incorporate this knowledge into sales strategies.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Negotiate pricing and terms of agreements, ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives.
- Provide regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline status, and market trends to management.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network and promote company products and services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, with a focus on selling PPE to end users.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
- Deep understanding of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving business growth and exceeding expectations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a collaborative and proactive mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
