Hays are delighted to be working alongside Ards & North Down borough council, who are seeking both full-time and part-time Leisure & Fitness Associates to join their team in Ards Blair Mayne Leisure centre.
Your new role
You will be required to carry out a range of duties including:

• Supervise all indoor and outdoor areas as required to ensure that the facilities operate safely and efficiently.
• Provide assistance to members of the public, including assisting with the supervision of children, on a regular basis.
• Directly participate in the delivery of the Centre’s activities as and where required and appropriate to the individual’s training and qualifications. The post holder will be required to use as required any skills or qualifications that were relied upon to secure their appointment.
• Undertake administration duties and cash handling duties associated with the post.
• Perform all duties in accordance with the agreed policies and operating procedures for the Centre.
• Undertake any duties required to ensure that the highest possible level of cleanliness is maintained throughout the facilities.
• Undertake any training that is required.

What you\'ll need to succeed
To be considered for these positions, you will need to have or be willing to gain a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification certificate, a relevant gym qualification. A recent employment reference will also be needed.
What you\'ll get in return
There are opportunities for both full time (36 hours) and part-time (26 hours) positions, on a rotating shift pattern, including weekends. These positions offer an immediate start, with a competitive hourly rate on offer, and you will be paid weekly.
