Job description
We are recruiting for a Demand Planning Manager to join our Merchandise Planning team here at Harrods on an 18-months fixed term contract. About the role Within this role, you will oversee the development and implementation of new systems and ways of working, acting as a true subject matter expert. You will also support the wider business with our current demand planning processes and replenishment practices, planning and managing the flow of seasonal and non-seasonal stock into and through the business. You will be a part of the Harrods Leadership team, always role modelling the Harrods Values and seeking to nurture and inspire a high performing team. About You You will be an experienced people manager, able to bring your team along on the journey whilst connecting the dots between different divisions across the business to ensure optimum results. Experience within demand and forecasting systems is a must. Whether you have worked as a consultant on a similar project or been a senior manager during a previous transformation process. You will be able to advise on the development of our new system, ultimately bringing this into fruition and supporting the business as this is rolled out. As a collaborative leader, you will have a positive outlook and be naturally tenacious with the ability to challenge where needed. You will be a change maker, always seeking improvement and efficiencies to operate at a best-in-class level. You will also possess: In depth commercial knowledge. The ability to flex your management and communication style. Expertise within Merchandising, Demand Planning or Forecasting. Strong working knowledge of SAP Demand Forecasting systems or similar. A background in managing multiple SKUs, potentially within a multi brand department store.
