Position Available: Level 3 Teaching Assistant in Wirral

Are you an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant seeking a fulfilling role in an Early Years setting? Academics, a prominent education recruitment agency, is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Level 3 TA to join a dynamic team in Wirral.

Role Overview: The successful candidate will collaborate closely with our Early Years Leader in Foundation 2 (F2), contributing to a language-rich environment and adeptly scaffolding and extending conversations. Our class has a substantial proportion of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Pupil Premium (PP) backgrounds, necessitating a compassionate and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities Include:

* Assisting the Early Years Leader in fostering a language-rich environment
* Supporting and extending conversations to enhance language development
* Delivering a focused 45-minute phonics session to a small group of approximately 8 children in the midday period
* Providing tailored support to SEN and PP children within the classroom environment
* Collaborating with the team to ensure effective learning outcomes for all children
* Contributing to the creation of a nurturing and inclusive learning atmosphere

Requirements:

* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
* Prior experience in an Early Years setting, preferably working with SEN and PP children
* Proficiency in scaffolding and extending conversations to enrich language development
* Strong understanding of phonics delivery and its importance in early education
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and adapt to evolving classroom needs
* Passionate about fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
