Hays are proud to be working on behalf of a well known organisation who is looking for a Team Leader Support Worker to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is available due to a promotion in the business. Your new role You will be responsible for supporting service users with complex needs such as Autism and Learning Disabilities in a supported living setting. You will be responsible for the staff supervision and management, including training, interviewing and supervising new staff, organising rotas and planning activities for the service users. You will also be very much involved in the everyday support of vulnerable individuals, including personal care, emotional care and support, liaising with doctors, GP\'s, families, agencies and management. You will be involved in promoting independence and supporting the development of these individuals. What you\'ll need to succeed You will need to be a experienced Support Worker and have worked with clients with autism and learning disabilities recently. Ideally you will have staff management experience however this is not essential. The successful candidate should be able to drive as the location of this service is not accessible via public transport and you will also be required to transport the clients to and from activities (however you will not use your own, vehicle) What you\'ll get in return A competitive rate of pay up to £13 per hour - depending on experience along with excellent employee benefits.
