Head of Accounts
£65,000 - £70,000

Cobalt is partnering with a prestigious Property Management company who are looking for someone to lead the Client Accounts team of 6 including Service Charge and Client Accountants.

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the line management of Client Accountants, Service Charge Accountants, and Accounts Assistant.
Ensure compliance with RICS Service Charge regulations for Commercial and Residential accounting.
Review Control Reports; ensuring accurate and efficient reporting to clients.
Onboarding new clients and developments.
Building and maintaining relationships with key clients.
Ownership of year-end accounts.
Responsible for accuracy in accounting process including doing the trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet.
Ownership of Client Statements, reconciliation of Service Charge Budgets, and distribution of SC packs.
About you
Experience working in a Senior Client Accountant or Team Lead position with Service Charge knowledge.
Advanced Yardi user.
Strong knowledge of and proficiency in Excel.
Experience with doing the Trial Balance.
Excellent organisation and communication skills, both oral and written.
A professional and organised approach to work.
Ability to lead and motivate a team.
