Maintenance Engineer
Pertemps Crewe are excited to present an opportunity to work for our well-established client who has been a market leader for over 60 years!
Due-to continued success, my client is looking for a maintenance engineer to join their team.
Multiple members of their team have been with the company for 40+ years and 25% of their team have been with them for 10+ years!
Salary: Up to £54,000
Hours: Flexible - Monday - Friday - 08:00 - 16:30 or Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 18:00
Location: Remote, located near the M25 corridor (London area)
Duration: Permanent/ Full time
Duties of the Maintenance Engineer - Partnered with a mechanical site engineer.
- Attend nationwide site breakdowns as necessary and ensure that the companies 24 hour call out policy is maintained.
- Overnight stays as required (average of once per week).
- Be available on a rota basis to provide standby cover for weekends and banks holidays when needed.
- Maintain company policies and improve when necessary.
- Complete site reports and obtain customers signatures.
- Be a positive ambassador for the company, promoting all products and services when applicable.
- Ensure company vehicle is stocked with all required tools.
- Ensuring all materials and tools are available.
Requirements for the right Maintenance Engineer - Experience in a similar role.
- Full UK driving licence.
- City and Guilds inspect and test qualification.
- 17th/ 18th edition (desirable).
- Confined space trained (desirable).
- First aid trained (desirable).
- CSCS (desirable).
- Team player.
- Ability to prioritise and manager workload.
- Flexible.
- Strong attention to detail.
