Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our OPD and ambulatory care team at Berwick infirmary.
You will be required to work alongside varied specialities , working with the wider multidisciplinary team to support patients journey when attending appointments and procedures.
You will work closely with nursing and administrative teams striving to provide a seamless service for patient and their carers.
We need the successful candidate to be flexible to meet the needs of the service and be able to work a full variety of shifts throughout the week .
We are looking for a candidate that is caring and compassionate and keen to support the patient journey, adapting to new ways of working and able to communicate and support the multidisciplinary team.
The post holder may be required to work at other trust sites occasionally.

• Communicating with patients and carers, ensuring smooth running of clinics, patient observations and documentation.
• Phlebotomy, ECG, 24hr BP and ECG and flow rate.
• Assist qualified nursing staff in the delivery of high quality direct in in direct patient care.
• Uses electronic systems e.g. PAS and ICE.
• Organises tasks and activities under supervision.
• Able to respond to the modern changing NHS.
• Takes responsibility for personal development achieving agreed objectives via appraisal.
