Job description

We are seeking to hire a Specimen Management Associate Shipping professional to join Q2 Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Livingston, UK

The Specimen Receipt and Processing Associate is responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with receipt of clinical specimens.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assists with receipt and handling of consignments and shipments.
• Opens shipments and conducts quality checks on patient information forms; reports issues to senior staff.
• Manages correct disposal/recycling of kit shipping supplies.
• Ensures specimens are properly removed from kit packaging through secondary checks.
• Supports and responds to after-hour alarms and other critical functions; assists in equipment maintenance.
• Handles supply inventory, workstation cleanup, administrative duties, and follows safety procedures and regulatory guidelines diligently.

What We Are Looking For:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Computer skills.

The Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities needed for this role:

• Ability to maintain effective reporting procedures and control workflow.

• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients.
