Job description
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an Anti-Racism Project Consultant – working 3 days per week - for an initial 8 month contract with option to extend on a rate of c.£450/day (Inside IR35). This role will be hybrid working with the majority of time home based.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the design team lead and the design team advisory group to administrate and coordinate the development and implementation of an agreed programme of work
- Build the required workshops and meetings from within the advisory group expertise
- Coordinate the extensive ongoing day to day work which will be presented at design advisory group meetings for advice and decision making
- After each meeting provide an action list for the continuation of the day-to-day work required to implement agreed actions.
- Determine and support tasks to enable completion of agreed asks
- Liaison with relevant people.
- Be an accurate liaison of information and enable shared decision-making between the advisory group, the co-chairs of the design advisory group and design team
- Coordinate invoicing and budgeting, liaising with the organisation
- Maintain, update and progress a thorough project plan for this interim period
- Liaise with other consultants as needed to coordinate community events or activities
- Be responsible for dissemination of communication in relation to updated information being shared with stakeholders, members, and wider identified groups.
Essential Skills:
- Experience in collaborating with various audience and building relationships.
- Experience in information sharing with stakeholders and wider groups.
