We are undergoing extensive change and as a result, we are looking for a senior transformation strategic leader that will drive forward all of our business transformation initiatives which are all aligned to improve services to customers.

Reporting to the Director of Technology & Transformation, you will develop, lead and deliver improvement to multiple systems, processes and procedures and will have operational experience within a service environment coupled with lean, six sigma or systems thinking experience.

Transformation encompasses many critical factors and you will demonstrate intellectual strength and flexibility to understand complex problems and rationalise these into a workable solution. You will provide rigorous analysis, undertaking research and utilising relevant datasets to drive fact-based decision making. Working within a team environment, you will be committed to achieving solutions with the ability to work under pressure, balance multiple priorities and bring a strong interest and commitment to developing and delivering leading edge solutions for the business.

You will support the Directors in developing and driving all business, digital technology and people related change and transformation programmes, effectively developing and aligning all the transformation programmes with the business strategy to drive continued success, performance and innovation.

Alongside your senior level experience, you will be able to evidence driving complex business and people related change and transformation programmes. With a strategic and commercial growth mind-set, you will be a strong communicator who is able to build relationships with key senior stakeholders and to test and challenge in an appropriate manner.

You will also lead a team on all the digital transformation projects across the business which will include scanning horizons to capture digital initiatives and demand across the business to enable key technological decisions to be assessed against a business strategic direction, to optimise technological capabilities as an iterative and ongoing activity rather than a single event to empower the wider organisation to progress longer term cost optimisation objectives.

Principle accountabilities:

• Experience of delivering a complex range of performance improvement initiatives
• Extensive programme and change management experience utilising various methodologies
• Analytical mindset with the ability to manipulate and analyse data
• Ability to switch between strategic thinking and taking a hands-on approach to delivery
• Lean, six sigma or systems thinking experience
• Stakeholder management, confidently handling and communicating change
• Prince 2 or equivalent project management qualification
• Change Management certification (ACMP, Procsi)
• Familiarity with technology trends and their potential impact on business processes
  Personal skills

• Excellent leadership skills with a track record of operating and delivering in a large scale and complex organisation where transformation and change are prioritised.
• Strong delivery and problem-solving focus
• Ability to build consensus across a large and diverse group of stakeholders.
• Experience in business analysis and strategic planning, including requirements definition and business case production.
• Experience of managing a product portfolio – including defining and managing plans and roadmaps
• Ability to take the business from creating the vision to delivering into reality.
• Ability to think both strategically and analytically, whilst identifying links between multiple strategies and plans
• Commercially astute and able to produce and articulate sound business plans that demonstrate clear business benefits and return on investment for proposed projects
