Title:
Deputy Subsea & Pipelines ManagerKBR Consulting is a multidiscipline organization, which incorporates a Subsea & Pipelines team. Projects delivered by the team include onshore pipelines, offshore pipelines and subsea engineering for project phases from feasibility through to Front End Engineering & Design (FEED). We work with other disciplines to deliver projects and also deliver stand-alone subsea and pipeline projects.
We are seeking a Deputy Subsea and Pipelines Manager to work as part of the KBR Consulting International team based in Leatherhead.
The successful candidate will be a key member of the team and will work with the existing Subsea and Pipelines Manager to grow the existing worldwide team, support business processes and maintain the high quality of our engineering deliverables.
The candidate should have excellent organizational skills and be good at communicating and guiding others. They should be able to multi-task, work without supervision, exercise good judgment and communicate with colleagues in the wider KBR organisation.
The candidate shall support the group’s overall sales effort through proposal / tender preparation, contract negotiation, and other client interfacing activities.

KBR Consulting, through the incorporation of KBR’s wholly owned subsidiary Granherne, draws on a heritage of over thirty-five years specialising in the front-end phases of oil & gas field, refinery and petrochemical development projects from pre-feasibility, through feasibility and pre-FEED, up to and including preliminary FEED phases. In addition, we undertake small FEEDs as well as providing specialist consultancy to later through to phases of projects including debottlenecking studies, brownfield modifications, production optimisation, operations and decommissioning.
Our experience covers all forms of oil & gas field developments including onshore and offshore production and gathering facilities for greenfield, brownfield, refinery rehabilitation projects and petrochemical facility developments. The front-end nature of the work means that we are often involved in developments in areas and technologies new to the oil and gas industry.
KBR is actively pursuing energy transition as a core strategy across our organisation. This includes our development of both blue and green hydrogen production to support our ammonia technology and other areas of hydrogen consumption in our technology portfolio. Cost estimation and planning are both a regular feature of our studies and they are often bespoke to specific client methodologies. In addition to cost estimating and project planning, our capability covers the spectrum of all the front-end technical disciplines including risk and safety analysis and value engineering.
