Judged by Ofsted in 2023 as a good school, we are a popular choice for parents within our community and have been oversubscribed for many years.
Smitham is a community school with a strong identity of which we are proud. We are looking for someone who shares the same ethos and can build on the high standards and achievements that are already part of our culture. We would welcome applications from experienced Headteachers as well as Deputy Headteachers who are ready for the challenges that headship brings.
We have a committed and talented team of staff who develop caring pupils with a positive attitude to learning and each other. Our school is well maintained and set within extensive grounds, enabling us to promote outdoor learning across a broad and creative curriculum.
