Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the MiChild group, our Stepping Stones nursery is looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and organised individual to join our setting as a temporary nursery cook, providing fresh, healthy and nutritious meals daily.

Key responsibilities
- Managing a small kitchen
- Cooking and preparing all meals from scratch.
- Managing all areas of the kitchen.
- Monitoring stock and wastage
- Complying with hygiene regulations at all times
Requirements
- The successful candidate must have previous experience within a working kitchen environment
- Demonstrable experience as a skilled Cook ideally in a School or Nursery setting
- hold a Food Hygiene certificate as a minimum
- Excellent culinary skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills are essential
- Working on your own initiatives
Salary
From £10.50 per hour
Due to the nature of the job, all applicants will be subject to safeguarding and compliance checks, including DBS and references checks.
