Service Care Finance are currently recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in London for a Finance Analyst on a temporary basis.
This role is supporting the financial appraisal modelling for the New Council Homes Programme as well as Temporary accommodation workstream.
The role will be responsible for providing financial support to the department in areas such as annual budget, monthly monitoring, statutory reporting and financial controls.
Candidate Criteria - CCAB/CIMA Qualified Accountant or Part-Qualified with extensive experience
- Experience in Local Authority Finance, specifically in HRA/Housing General Fund
- Experience of providing sound financial advice to senior members on budgets, reporting and controls
- Experience of capital year-end would be highly desirable
- Great communication skills with the ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team
