Senior Practitioner (Children's)

Description
We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Practitioner (Children's) to join our team. As a Senior Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to the team in delivering high-quality services for children and families. You will play a crucial role in assessment, planning, and intervention for vulnerable children and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families and has a strong background in children's social care.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of practitioners, providing them with supervision, support, and guidance.
Conduct assessments and reviews of children and their families, using professional judgment and evidence-based knowledge.
Develop and implement care plans that are tailored to meet the individual needs and safeguarding concerns of children.
Provide expert advice and consultation, both internally and externally, on matters relating to children's social care.
Manage complex cases, ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to protect children from harm and promote their well-being.
Work collaboratively with other professionals, such as health and education professionals, to provide an integrated approach to service delivery.
Keep up to date with changes in legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to children's social care and ensure compliance within the team.
Requirements
A recognized social work qualification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
At least [number] years of experience in children's social care, with demonstrable experience in a senior position.
Sound knowledge and understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Proven experience of managing and supervising a team of practitioners.
Excellent assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions based on available evidence.

Pay Per Hour: £27.97
