Company & Project: A successful Tier 1 Main Contractor operating across Essex are looking to recruit an experienced construction professional to join their business.

The opportunity presents rarely seen opening in the market to join a business at a Project Management level and lead an established team of Site Managers, Engineer, H&S and Supervisors on a local project c 15m in value.

Our client has a long standing reputation in the local market and the new opportunity is due to continuing project wins and growth of the business. The company prides itself on the success of its employees, many of which have been with the company for many years.

Duties & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will take responsibility for leading a new build project c 15m in value.

You will working closely with both the pre–construction team and manage the site delivery team throughout the project to completion.

The successful candidate will have background in implementing modern techniques of construction, the highest standards of Health and Safety, quality management, developing and building on client relationships.

You will be need to be an excellent communicator, with a track record of successfully leading projects c 10m+ for a Main Contractor and a background of delivering projects on time, to a high quality and promoting excellent standards of Health and Safety.

Desirable Experience:

• Previously held a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager position with a Main Contractor.
• Experience working in one of the following sectors: Healthcare, Education, Commercial, Defence or Science.
• Exceptional client facing skills.
• Qualifications: NVQ Level 6 or BSc Construction Management or MCIOB.
• Previous Roles: Project Manager OR Senior Project Manager OR Construction Manager.

Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Construction Management or NVQ Level 6. MCIOB desirable.
