Job description

We are currently seeking a skilled Welder and Fabricator to join a reputable and well-established company. As a Welder and Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal parts to produce high-quality products. To be successful in this role you will be a reliable, hardworking team player who is hungry for work, excellent at welding and can work well in a team. This is a responsible role which requires demanding physical work, accuracy, trust and clear communication.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Fabricating and welding metal components to specifications
• Using various welding techniques such as MIG welding
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings
• Inspecting finished welds to ensure they meet quality standards
• Operating and maintaining welding equipment
• Setting out steels and tacking up from fabrication drawings
• Other daily tasks as requested by your line manager, including drilling, sweeping and tidying up

Requirements

• Competent in MIG welding (essential)
• Reading and understanding fabrication drawings (essential)
• Team player who can communicate well and work closely with others
• Good face-to-face manner and able to remain professional under pressure.
• Physically fit
• Willingness to work

Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:30am-5pm (30 minute lunch, 2 x 15 minutes break)

Benefits
