Job description

Driver Hire Perth are recruiting for a Van Driver to work with their client, a leading builders merchant, from their depot in Aviemore. You will be delivering bathroom, heating and plumbing supplies across Scotland using a sprinter sized van.

The successful Van Driver will require:

• Category B entitlement on their driving licence
• Van driving experience
• Good knowledge of Scotland

Van driver responsibilities include:

• Safe and timely deliveries or products to building sites or delivery points
• Following manual handling procedures to ensure safe loading and unloading
• Working with your drivers mate to ensure products are in excellent condition on delivery

The successful Van Driver can expect:

• An hourly rate of £12.33 per hour, including holiday pay
• Overtime available as required, paid at an enhanced rate
• Guaranteed 8 hours paid per shift worked
• Monday to Friday shifts (ad-hoc)
• Possibility of full time for the right candidate
