Job description

Academic Appointments Ltd is currently working with a Secondary School in Sheffield to recruit 2 dedicated Teaching Assistants. These are full time Teaching Assistant placements and will be to start asap on a temporary contract in the first instance, with a potential of a perm offer for the right candidates.

The school is situated in a great location that is easily commutable from the surrounding areas by bus or train.

The successful candidate will be supporting to Key Stage 3 and 4.

The school is expanding and looking for candidates from Secondary school or care backgrounds. We have had several candidates working in the school for the last academic year, all of which reported positive feedback.

Requirements:

A Teaching Assistant or Care Qualification
2 x references from educational or care establishments
Evidence of an exemplary track record
A passion for success and quality teaching
An Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.

Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience, and payroll method.
