Job description
Main Responsibilities
- Support Service Manager on day to day duties of Trina’s energy storage sites in the UK
- Carry out/Supervise Preventative and Corrective Maintenace to adhereto warranty requirements
- Supervise subcontractors site activities
- Comply with company policies, ensuring supplier and contractors follow up H&S regulations
- Complete site reports in a timely manner
- Support client training when required
- Support the development and implementation of Trina’s service and maintenance structure
- Troubleshooting of issues on site
Your profile
- Suitable engineering degree or qualifications
- Approved electrician UK (required)
- Related experience in maintenance of electrical equipment in the context of Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects
- Fault finding experience (required)
- Knowledge of H&S procedures as well as LOTO and switching (required)
- Strong site experience and hands-on mentality (required)
- Familiar with related electrical standards, Regulations and Legislation (BS 7671, 18th edition etc)
- Ability to adapt to dynamic conditions and stay focused/execute on goals under tight deadlines
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with ability to interface with multiple parties (contractors, suppliers, client representatives)
- CSCS, ECS card holder or eq.
- Low Voltage Authorised person LV AP desirable
- Excellent MS Office capabilities, SCADA and MODBUS experience will be a plus
- Must be willing and able to travel in support of existing & new Energy Storage fleet
- Passion for your work, strong communication skills, a flexible and positive attitude, structured and dedicated way of working
