The role: Additional supports needs
You will be working in a year 5 class as a additional supports needs, for this role you will be preparing learning material, adapt teaching support according to student's needs and look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare. Supervise and provide learning support for pupils with or without special needs. Assist with the development of individual education and behavioural plans setting challenging expectations for pupils to achieve learning goals.
You must have experience working with children and young people within a school setting in the UK, Teaching assistant course level 2/3, Makaton, PECs, symbol exchange trained, Team Teach, DBS on the update service or willing to apply through us.

This school is based in Brent which is a single entry form school with around 187 students, it teaches 14 different subjects to help support students when in year 6 and to prepare for secondary school. In may 2022 they had received a good Ofsted report on behaviour management, office and management skills, and friendly environment.
