Person specification Qualifications and Training Essential criteria Registered Mental Health Practitioner, Professional registration as RNMH/AHP/Occupation Therapist. Must be currently registered with appropriate professional body Evidence of on-going CPD in portfolio Previous Experience Desirable criteria Post registration experience of working in a mental health setting. Experience of multiagency/professional working. Working experience in community mental health Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience. Knowledge and Skills Essential criteria Demonstrate an extensive knowledge of evidence-based assessments and interventions. Able to deal with difficult situations e.g. dealing with aggressive and/or emotional patients or carers. Desirable criteria Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing. High quality record keeping Risk Assessment and Risk Management skills. Attributes Essential criteria Honest, trustworthy and reliable, friendly, approachable. Ability to adapt to changing environments, needs and demands and respond accordingly Desirable criteria to have a flexible and creative approach to problem solving Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and maintaining quality.
