We are recruiting a Production Technician to work within our dedicated Dynamometer facility.
Barrus has created one of the world’s largest and most modern custom-engine building facilities, allowing the Company to build products in single units to large volume production runs. Comprehensive test facilities enable the delivery of fully tested, run-in and first-serviced engines.
Main responsibilities include dynamometer testing of all rebuilt and new engines, fault finding, recording and producing test data, maintaining dynamometer test equipment and producing engines and products when required.
The successful candidate will have a recognised apprenticeship or other relevant qualification in an internal combustion engine maintenance, engineering or marine engineering-based subject. You will have an in-depth practical working knowledge of 4-stroke engines (petrol & diesel) and have at least 5 years of practical experience in a busy workshop/production environment. Strong teamwork and good communication skills are essential.
