Building Physics Engineer

My client has the exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Physics Engineer to join their built environment consultancy. The successful candidate will be expected to report to their offices in Winchester with them working on a range of projects across varied sectors.
Role responsibilities include:
- Provide assistance with building regulations that comply with Part L
- Carry out Thermal comfort analysis (CIBSE TM52 and TM59)
- Undertake TM54 Operational Energy analysis
- Carry out NABERS simulations, Passive design, and low-zero carbon technology studies
- Work alongside clients and architects, providing advice on energy use across a range of buildings and sites
Role requirements include:
- Degree within an engineering, architecture, or sustainability
- Strong practical experience within a building physics or sustainability engineer role
- Good knowledge and experience with heat transfer, energy, comfort criteria, and CIBSE Guidance
- Experience with industry guidance such as LETI and RIBA
- Good experience with IES-VE software and UK Building Regulations
- CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant and Low Carbon Energy Assessor level 5 accreditations would be advantageous
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
