About the Opportunity
Jacobs is supporting the New Nuclear Programmes across the UK in driving for NetZero objectives.
We are supporting EDF’s EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) through our embedded team who deliver key engineering roles across the project. EPR-E is responsible for delivering the design for a number of buildings, systems and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C (HPC) and supporting those systems into construction and commissioning. The EPR-E team is also preparing design replication feasibility and engineering activities for the Sizewell C (SZC) Project.
Jacobs are recruiting for a Layout Engineer to be based within the Hinkley Point C (HPC) site engineering office (JDO, Joint Design Office) located on the HPC site. In this role you will be working as part of the Layout Team which supports the construction of two EPRs on HPC by providing the engineering insight in the design of the plant. Key responsibilities will be:

Note4: Service Incentive – on completion of 12-month continuous service in post – there is a salary uplift of 5% paid
