The area:

The Reiver is located in a large residential area to the west of Carlisle's city centre. It is currently a much-loved community pub servicing the 3,000 adults in the area with no other competition in the community sector. The Reiver has been a true community pub catering for all, known for its busy events calendar, showing live sports, hosting darts and football teams and extremely popular live music nights.
