Job description

About the role:

To work as part of the team maintaining the roadworthiness of the authorities vehicles and plant fleet.

Our fleet team are the first authority in Wales to achieve DVSA Earned Recognition status and only the 3rd in the UK.

About you:

Relevant work experience - minimum NVQ level 2 in vehicle/plant repair or equivalent.
Good teamwork and interpersonal skills
Problem solving and technical knowledge
Adaptability
Hold a driving licence
What you will do:

Help to service, maintain and repair the authorities fleet of LCV fleet, plant equipment and trailers.
Undertake PMI's at scheduled intervals of LCV's, trailers and plant equipment (mini-diggers, skid-steers)
Prepare LCV's for MOT
On-site breakdowns and repairs
