Duties

  1. Working with the senior team, develop and execute comprehensive business development plans aligned with the company's objectives, including market analysis, competitor assessment, and identification of growth opportunities.
  2. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Integrated Commissioning Boards, Local Authorities, Case Managers, healthcare providers, insurers, and community organisations, to drive referrals and strategic partnerships.
  3. Lead the sales and marketing efforts to promote our residential care services, including developing promotional materials, attending industry events, and leveraging digital marketing channels.
  4. Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to deliver occupancy growth targets and identify expansion opportunities into new geographical locations.
  5. Maintaining a growth pipeline to ensure succession planning for service vacancies
  6. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, partners, and vendors to ensure favourable terms and mutually beneficial partnerships.
  7. Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the business development team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  8. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress against business development goals, regularly analysing performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
  9. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards and identify and mitigate risks associated with business development activities

About Us

Cornerstone Healthcare Group provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.

Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them unsuitable to live in dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.

We currently have 3 homes based in Waterlooville, Curdridge and Mytchett and are in the process of building 2 new homes in Bristol and Wincanton which are due to open in 2024.
