Job description
Supporting Young Adults with a learning disability and mental health needs in a residential care setting.
Support residents in their daily routines, giving each resident the right to dignity, choice, privacy, independence and promoting integration into the local community.
To support the residents to prepare and cook meals in a safe and hygienic environment providing the level of support necessary for each individual to complete the task. To make sure all relevant paper work is filled in including fridge and food temps.
Enable residents to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in their area, providing support with all aspects of cleaning as it is needed by each individual unable to meet these standards then staff must assure the areas are clean.
Enable residents to undertake their own laundry and ironing as far as it is possible, providing assistance as necessary to complete the task. Some residents will need full support from staff to do this.
General maintenance of the area and grounds, promoting a clean, tidy and safe environment. Enable residents to gain skills in this area and complete all identified tasks.
