A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Buyer to join a very successful and wellestablished business in the heart of Bury. With lots of benefits on offer & scope to director level this is not one to be missed!
Duties include;
- Preparation of tenders / tender presentations.
- Procurement & ordering of materials for the installers.
- Liaising with suppliers.
- Breakdown client enquiries & specifications.
- Send out enquiries for all required materials.
- Ensure all tenders are chased and the Directors are kept informed of the bid prospects.
Skills:
- Experience working within the Plumbing/Heating/Domestic sector is advantageous
- Experience in tendering
- Good negotiating ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
