Title: Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer (Days Shifts)
Location: Brentwood, Essex
Shifts: Monday - Friday, Double Days (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm)
Salary: Circa £46,000 - £47,000 + Overtime (x1.5/x2) + Annual Bonus + Contributory Pensions + Industry Training + 33 Days Holidays
The Role:
My client is an international pharmaceutical manufacturer that is seeking a senior multi-skilled maintenance engineer with experience within a FMCG manufacturing industry or similar work environment to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
They are in the process of creating a site where maintenance engineers want to come to work, where there is no blame culture and everyone can enjoy themselves in a fast-paced work environment.
Working as part of a small engineering team, it really is a family style culture and you will need to be willing to train some of the junior members of the engineering team and also contribute your own ideas to improve the process of the site.
The work the company does can be very rewarding and the team are passionate about building life saving equipment. Although pharmaceutical specific experience is not required, you must be willing to train on their unique equipment, complete all health and safety, drugs regulation and compliance checks and paperwork and assist with setting up new equipment in what is an ever changing industry with constant new developments around the globe.
