Working within the team who, alongside the Data Strategy team, are similarly integrating analytics and client first-party data into their analysis, this role will ensure that a human voice is adding the requisite colour and depth alongside our various data inputs.
At mSix, our audience work is carried all the way through a campaign response, so being able to champion, explain and work with audience data from beginning to end of the process is a crucial requirement. Audience Planning sits as a dedicated part of our agency planning process, and this role will champion the consumer voice throughout. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach to data analysis and audience planning, as well as being able to both brief out but also design and analyse bespoke research studies to complement the other data sources we have available.Where is the role based?
The role is based in our central London offices, near Tottenham Court Road and Goodge Street. However, the candidate will be expected to travel to the main client’s offices in Brussels, Belgium, for key meetings. We anticipate this to be approximatelyonce per month.
What does the Audience Planning team do?
The Audience Planning team are the originators of the ‘golden thread’ of consistent audience understanding and application at mSix&Partners; connecting strategy, planning and activation with a fully-informed view of the optimal audience for our clients. We triangulate our audience understanding based on a wide ingestion of data sources and signals, including syndicated surveys, behavioural data, bespoke qual and quant studies, and client first-party data. With an ethos of continuous improvement, we ensure that our audience work incorporates all relevant inputs, learning from previous client activity, and tied into a comprehensive and considered data strategy.
What will be your responsibilities?
This position will be part-allocated on two key multimarket accounts (Toyota/Lexus and Fossil), and the successful candidate will be liaising directly with clients, as well as internal stakeholders such as client leads, strategists, planners and channel experts. Where relevant, this candidate will also work closely with the creative team at The&Partnership. Beyond those core accounts, we will expect the successful candidate to work alongside the rest of the Audience Planning team to foster similar conversations, ways of working and other projects for other brands that sit within the mSix&Partners client list.
Who are you?
We are looking for a curious and motivated audience expert, with experience in integrating custom research outputs into their analysis. With data storytelling a key part of the role, we need someone who can create an engaging narrative around their audiences, from how they were created, to how we understand them and how to most effectively communicate with them through paid and owned media. The successful candidate will be adept at combining human signals with other datasets, and using the resulting analysis to derive insights and recommendations for clients. We are looking for a candidate who can help clients maximise their understanding of their target consumers via a combined research and data approach, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to derive audiences that will meet business objectives.
How will success in role be measured?
The successful candidate will report into the UK Head of Audience Planning, and work alongside the mSix Audience Planning team. Success will be measured in key stakeholder feedback (internal as well as clients), alongside the successful establishment of how human insights are integrated into the audience work for key accounts.
