Operations Manager
Salary: £35-£40k
We are looking for an Operations Manager to join our Business Operations and Planning Team.
Working closely with our Head of Operations, you will be critical to ensuring that we are operationally primed for growth, and all is running smoothly behind the scenes. You will have excellent attention to detail and be passionate about problem-solving. You will be incredibly brand aware and enjoy working collaboratively with other pillars of the business e.g. Sales and Production, as well as building solid relationships with external suppliers. You will be a passionate player in our plan to become a beloved, iconic British brand that cultivates joy, protects wildlife & empowers women.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain & Logistics
- Monitoring current shipping times with our Freight team and keeping the PO shipment tracker up to date with arrivals and booking updates
- Communicating with wider team on any shipping delays or changes
Warehouse Management
- Day to day communication and troubleshooting with our Warehouse and Customer Experience teams
- Management of our various technologies that are part of the order processing procedure
- Arranging the creation and on time delivery of PR mailers, in collaboration with Marketing Team
- Ordering, on time delivery and availability of print marketing to the warehouse
- Managing our couriers and forecasting parcel volumes
- Assisting with any operational issues in our personalisation process
Stock management & Reporting
- Reporting on current stock levels and sell through to wider team
- Weekly reporting on core stock holding, triggering a re-order when we go out of stock threshold
- Monitoring packaging usage and stock holding with our suppliers, triggering re-orders when needed
- Responsible for ensuring that all product information has been correctly added to product listings on our E Commerce and Trade websites
- Monitor and analyse operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
- Reporting weekly on Ops KPIs to wider team
- Month end reporting to key stakeholders including the Accounts team and FD
Project work
Assistance with all project work including, but not limited to:
- Ensuring operational readiness for company growth
- Continuously improving our unboxing experience
- Ensuring website improvement projects are compliant with our current back-end systems
- Personalisation quality improvement with our Production team
- Market expansion into the US and Europe
Requirements
- Comfortable operating in an ever-changing environment and able to adapt and thrive in a high-growth start-up
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience managing 3PL relationships and procedures
- Proficiency in logistics, 3PL and inventory management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets abilities
- Netsuite and Shopifty experience preferred but not required
- We work a hybrid model, you must be able to travel to our HQ at AL9 6NE as required, this will be a minimum of three days a week.
- UK bank account, a NI number, proof of eligibility to work in the UK, able to speak English fluently.
