Job description
Due to the increased workload within the Practice, we are looking to employ further Yard Assistants to join our busy team.
We have two options available:
Full-time time working a 40 hour week Monday to Friday and weekends on a 1:6 rota.
Full or Part-time working on a rolling rota of every other weekend and additional hours during the week, which can be flexible, providing up to 40 hours per week in total.
The main duties of the job involve the daily care of the horses at the hospital to include feeding, mucking out, grooming and yard maintenance. Additionally, the Yard Assistants admit and discharge in-patients and complete paperwork with clients - full training will be given.
It is essential for all applicants to have excellent horse handling skills and used to handling a variety of horses.
