This job is based at Outwood Academy Hasland Hall. It is an 11-16 academy based in the large, friendly, Derbyshire town of Chesterfield, near Derby and Sheffield. The school are seeking a highly motivated professional individual with strong ICT skills to fulfil the key role of Examinations & Assessment Officer.
Your new role Will consist of;
- Liaising with all examination boards regarding general queries.
- Distribution of pupil examination timetables, data collection forms and letters to students.
- Responsible for the management and communication of private candidate entries/examinations.
- Management of the accurate ordering of examination/question papers.
- Responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the examinations room, examination papers and safe.
- Responsible for the collation and distribution of result slips to students.
- Provide all parents with student assessment data.
- Statistical analysis and review of all assessment data and trends for departmental managers.
- Deal with any immediate problems or emergencies according to the academy's policies and procedures.
What you\'ll need to succeed - Experience of working with statistical analysis, management information and data collection (Essential).
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of audiences, verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing deadlines.
- Understanding of academy child safeguarding procedures.
- Ability to relate to students in a pleasant and sympathetic manner and to recognise potential child safeguarding issues.
This is a full-time position. The role is to start in April. A sooner start can be discussed.
