Job description

This role is for a qualified financial accountant within the technology and telecoms industry. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely statutory reporting for our client based in Reading.

Description

• Preparation and submission of statutory financial statements.
• Liaison with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
• Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
• Providing technical accounting advice to internal stakeholders.
• Assisting with the implementation of new accounting policies and procedures.
• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
• Preparation of reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts.
• Assisting with ad hoc reporting as required.

Profile

• A recognised accounting qualification out of practice or industry (ACA, ACCA)
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Audit experience would be beneficial
• Experience with US GAAP would be preferred
• Financial reporting experience would be necessary
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• A problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills.
