Are you passionate about early childhood education and nurturing young minds?
Academics are currently working closely with a lovely primary school located in the Rhondda Valleys to find an experienced Teaching Assistant / Nursery Assistant to work full-time until July with potential of a permanent contract.
Requirements:
*At minimum, hold a CACHE Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
*Previous experience working within a Nursery/ Foundation Phase class is desirable.
*Knowledge and understanding of the importance of early years education and development within the classroom.
*Previous experience supporting those with Additional Learning Needs is desired.
*Previous experience as a Nursery Assistant is highly desired.
Your role as a Nursery Assistant:
*Assisting in the daily personal care routines of children where required.
*Supporting the class teacher in the implementation of activities
*Providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore and learn.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Being proactive in ensuring children are engaged and the classroom is organised.
