The Role
This role will service Nespresso Global and Nestle Zone Europe.
NESPRESSO GLOBAL
This positionwill have a pivotal role in supporting our Nespresso central clients with the development and governance of their globalpaid socialactivity.Projects transcend a breadth of disciplines from social channel strategy to measurement and thought leadership. There is a balance of coordination with local markets on their locally led media planning in addition to centrally led media strategy.
The role requires strong leadership and building trusted client relationships. As the main POC for paid social for Nespresso, you will work as a trusted advisor on their business, responsible for setting the agenda for Paid Social.
You will work within ourglobal Nespresso performance team, including the Client Lead and other channel specialists, whilst contributing to the wider Mindshare Paid Social community.The Paid Social Account Director will gain exposure to all specialist teams across the agency.
NESTLE ZONE-EUR
This role will work as part of the zone Europe digital leadership team, who play a key role servicing Nestle within the bespoke OpenMind model, setup to service them across EMEA. You will help elevate the work of in-market social specialists, driving the overall Paid Social agenda across Zone Europe.
You’ll support the overall zone leadership team, with specific focus on the strategic direction of Paid Social. Ensuring that the Zone has a consistent approach and framework to the channel in addition to supporting the maximisation of owned and 3rd party technology.
The role will also connect the global innovation agenda into the local markets active in the region, encouraging adoption through test & learn solutions, whilst defining the opportunity for future innovations.
For this role, you will need to have deep Paid Social experience in both platform and the strategic direction of this digital practice area. The role will require a strong understanding of Nestlé global Paid Social partners (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest), a good working knowledge of GroupM Paid Social solutions (e.g. GRASP, MetaSPI etc) and the connection into other tech partners such as Zefr & IAS.

Responsibilities:
- Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring deadlines and client expectations are met.
- Keep up to date with industry developments to ignite POVs.
- Opportunity to play an active role in pitches, and other cross agency initiatives based on career vision.
NESPRESSO GLOBAL:
- Evolve Nespresso’s global social performance strategy aligned with the client’s objectives for the channel.
- Be the central client contact for global paid social and commerce guidance, dealing with senior management within the client and agency organization.
- Manage the production of global playbooks and strategy documents for best-in-class social commerce execution.
- Work closely with the local market teams ensuring the overall strategy and plans are adjusted for local market nuances.
- Understand the client’s business requirements and identify opportunities to increase the agency’s partnership and grow the scope of work.
- Maintain a forward thinking and innovative approach in the development of social as a commerce channel.
NESTLE Z-EUR:
- Support the Zone digital leadership with their digital evolution ambition through the growth and development of Paid Social offering across the zone.
- Co-build the regional Paid Social roadmap and the application of maturity frameworks that can support the growth of the channel in markets of varying maturity.
- Ensure that the Paid Social best practice is applied throughout the region and that global constructs are connected to local media buying in collaboration with social activation teams.
- Forge and maintain relationships with key strategic media partners to ensure that we are fully embracing new media, technology, and data opportunities as they emerge.
- Work with Nestlé and OpenMind global teams on Paid Social structures with feedback around marker adoption. Workstreams can include platform prioritisation, format adoption roll-out, DCO initiatives etc.
- Connect global WPP projects into media application with supportive co-ownership of innovation roadmaps (e.g.Cloud Solutions, AI). Supports in OOS project creation and influences adaption (e.g. expansion usage of CAPI).
Key Skills & Experience:
- Deep Paid Social specialism, with experience across all levels of Paid Social including campaign building, channel planning and channel-level strategy.
- In-depth platform knowledge of Meta, TikTok and Pinterest in addition to operational knowledge of Snap and other cross-market platforms. Working knowledge of the integration into additional tech stacks such as GA4 and the adoption of platform measurement technologies such as CAPI.
- Experience in dealing with varying levels of digital maturity (e.g. data levels, digital spends) and market maturity (e.g.tech adoption, marketing spends etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills, being able to confidently and clearly present work to clients, media owners and internal stakeholders.
- Understanding of analytical tools and utilisation of these into digital insights, enhancement and impact to strategy, planning and/or activation.
- Ability to connect outcomes to business decisions and discuss insights with clients that can inform elements beyond media.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills; ability to quickly and creatively solve issues (both technical and operational)
- Ability to communicate process driven approaches clearly and effectively to non-technical individuals.
- Track record delivering high quality results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Experience and knowledge of the difference stages of the project management life cycle and the frameworks needed to create and advance these.
