Portadown / Hybrid (up to 2 days at home)

As a Materials Planner, you'll play a vital role in ensuring on-time delivery of materials to production, whilst maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:

• Managing a supplier portfolio, and ensuring the on-time delivery of materials.  This includes maintaining strong supplier relationships, addressing discrepancies, rescheduling materials, and coordinating with the production team on late deliveries
• Leading and contributing to process improvement initiatives
• Contributing to support and cross-functional projects, both locally and divisionally
• Ensuring that all projects are managed and delivered within agreed timeframes
• Utilising various diagnostic and reporting mechanisms to identify and resolve potential challenges within the supply chain
• Root cause analysis and providing recommendations for improvement
• Delivering regular metric reports and presentations
• Achieving and reporting on KPI's

Criteria

To be considered for this role, you should have either:

• A degree in related engineering, manufacturing, or supply chain subject, with 0-2 years of supply chain experience (eg, placement experience within Supply Chain)

OR

• A minimum of three years experience in a similar role within the Supply Chain

In addition, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Strong business and management skills
• Project management expertise
• Effective communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
